The hosts at Mantraki are a kind and authentic Greek couple who were lovely hosts. The experience in staying at Mantraki Hotel was unique for our family of four as it felt as though we were staying with family instead of renting an apartment. Costas and Maria preformed in the evening and he played the accordion while singing beautiful Greek and International songs. They leant us towels to use at the beach with our young daughters. It was a truly memorable stay and we hope to come back soon.

Stunning view, excellent location and lovely apartment. Very central for everything in Agios Nikolaos. Super restaurants on your doorstep and not too far away from other excellent restaurants. When we were there the weather was quite hot so relieved to have a beach in such close proximity. And our host Popi was so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much for her she went over and above making us feeling at home. My wife raved about the pressure of the shower which was so invigorating. No hesitation in recommending here and looking forward to coming back some day.

The service was top notch. Everyone was helpful and answered any requests we had. We had half board and though previous comments said that the food was not good, I beg to differ. The breakfast was ample with lots of buffet options (hot and cold) as well as the menu (you could order omelets, and other items off the menu). Frappes and Fredo espressos were not problem. The setting at breakfast was beautiful overlooking the pool and ocean. One of the previous comments said that there weren't any Greek offerings at dinner. Being Greek-American, I thought the inclusive dinner options did a great job with an overall selection to appeal to everyone as well as classic Greek and Cretan options. Obviously, if one truly wants a true Cretan dining experience, then I recommend eating off property, but we ate both nights we stayed at the resort, and we all greatly enjoyed. I've been to many all-inclusive hotels in Mexico and the Caribbean and the food and drinks at this establishment were the best we've had. The hotel manager was always present, making rounds ensuring people were enjoying their stay. In fact, our son celebrated his birthday one night and the hotel staff provided a dairy-free cake (he's allergic to dairy) for his bday complete with candles! Lastly, the resort is beautifully and tastefully decorated. I greatly enjoyed walking around, taking in all the sights. The designers did an exceptional job making it feel very Greek island-esque with every nook and cranny having artwork or decorations.

Everyone was nice but the kitchen staff was spectacular. The star of the show in my opinion was Manos, who seemed to be the head waiter. His simple presence uplifted the entire restaurant. His wording, even in a second language, made the atmosphere graceful and you felt provided for without pretention. So much warmth and so professional. The waitress Sofia would pick up crying children (with approval of parents of course) and welcome everyone warmly. The food of course was also good, as well as the rest of the staff. thank you!

Heaven on earth! Lovely hotel, and very friendly and welcoming staff. Quiet and peaceful, it has been a pleasure staying here❤️ Breakfast was very good as well, fresh fruit and vegetables where available every day😊

Separate parking place, nice and cozy rooms. Cleaning staff would always be there in the day time. The amenities provided were nice, complimentary wine and presents were also a plus. The front desk was also helpful in anything necessary. There is a beach right behind the property, also walking distance to the harbour area.
