The villa, garden and overall location is truely amazing. Can't imagine a better place to stay if you want to visit Florence and yet get a taste also of Toscana peaceful and beautiful nature. Great breakfast and very friendly staff. The shuttle bus is a big plus too.

Just finished our second visit to this wonderful hotel and our experience was just as great as first (in 2015). The hospitality and accommodations are superb and the value is unbeatable. It’s the best of both options for aFlorentine/Tuscany stay. The historic place, grounds and vista are exceptionally charming, quiet and beautiful. The rooms are generously sized and well appointed with large, fully equipped private bathrooms, graceful furnishings, a generously sized, comfortable bed and wonderful views of the grounds and Tuscany countryside. Paris generous and on-site with an easy walk to public transportation that will deliver you the two miles to Florence Roman gates (or an easy drive to paid parking at city historic gates). If you plan to include a drive through Tuscany for wine tasting or excursion to Pisa, this hotel is easy access to the interstate. The key, though, is the hospitality, which is top notch in my books. Staff are very friendly, accommodating and work hard to ensure you can quickly unwind and enjoy the beauty of this area. Small touches like tea/coffee and well stocked (and reasonably priced) mini fridge with local wine and beer, plus a nice breakfast add to the enjoyable visit. We plan to return to Florence often and this will be our ‘go to’ place! Highly recommend!
