Historic buildings that are beautifully decorated. The inner courtyard was also lovingly designed. The breakfast was also good, the omelette was tasty and fresh. I also liked the hot tub. It's only a few minutes walk to the "Old Town" district.

El Vado is in a great location and is super cute. The motel is exceptionally clean and the staff is accommodating. The design is a very cute Mid-Century Modern with a great retro feel. The bed was very comfortable. The pool is quite large and lovely with neon lights that give a good vibe. Right next door, there is a coffee shop/bagel place which was very convenient. There is also a cute tap room in the Motel.

The room was very nice, with attention paid to the interior design. Coffees were available in reception as well as the room. Although they don’t have an in-house breakfast option, you do get 10% off at Denny’s (which is right next door). It’s a nice place.

Outstanding continental breakfast service with Jimmy (including made to order hot food!) - don't miss out. Comfy, cozy home that feels like having "your own" apartment, and on a super affordable budget and great location. Super friendly staff, comfy bed, and good AC and fan options. Stylish rustic/vintage feel in the unit made it feel just like staying at "grandma's house".

Sandia Peak Inn is conveniently located if you want to explore Albuquerque, especially for visiting Old Town. The Hotel itself is exceptionally clean, has big rooms, a laundry facility and sufficient AC. What makes it really outstanding is the friendliness of the owners and the funky design of the exterior - we really enjoyed our stay.
