Peaceful little town with historical center uphill, so you can see from there a lot of greenery alongside river Kamp flowing down, including famous Zwettl Monastery settled in the forest about five kilometers northeast from it. Excellent open air and indoor swimming pool with really familiar atmosphere...

They even put some towels to the entrance you can use for your dogs paws after a walk. The environment is really nice, there are several trails you can chose based on your mood from short (2km) to longer (5-6km) one. Breakfast is really nice and the dinner with the 5 meals was never a disappointment.

I woke up in the morning with haze over the city it looked like a lake. Simple rooms, just what I was looking for and 2 minutes from the LKH Zwettl where I had a meeting. Hütte Restanuart around the corner (closed on Tuesday) and Schwarzer Alm (10 min. drive) with splendid location in thefields and woods.
