I loved the history that surrounds the whole of Cleveland.
I loved the history that surrounds the whole of Cleveland. It's beautiful to drive around. The lighthouse restaurant and RSL was a standout feature for my stay. The Bay Air motel was central to these locations.

If you are wheelchair bound, then do not go there.
If you are wheelchair bound, then do not go there. The facilities are not appropriate for a disabled person. Toilet has no bars. You have to go out of your room to use a disable toilet on the next floor! Beds too low. I had to helped DOWN to the bed as too low.

The bed head was broken and it had only the base .
The bed head was broken and it had only the base .Hard like sleeping on bricks . The lock was moving when you put the key in. The air conditioner had no remote , When I went to notifie the manager he said he would come and check it all out .But he told me to stand on a chair and turn the aircon on but it didnt work anyway . We stay one night becauese he told us it was fully booked out . we couldnt sleep the whole night oit was just to hard I have a back issue .But he didnt care .so the next morning my husband and I spoke to him abouttheissues and asked for our money back .He said he would refund for one night but there was no way we were going to ok that .Specially when he said he would come check it but he never did . He then told us it was the honeymoon suite .Thats when i said you need to go and do a few repairs firt before you offer t to anyone,Number 30 please check it out first foryoureslf and if not happy dont stay and get a refund .Wouldnt recomended this place to anyone .We contacted adifferent place paid less and it was 100 percent better

Cleveland is a great place to visit.
Cleveland is a great place to visit. It is easy to get around Cleveland. There are many great places in and around Cleveland to dine, and such a variety of cuisines. There are interesting art galleries, craft making places, libraries, Raby Bay Harbour, historic places like The Old Courthouse, etc. There is access to the ferries and water taxis to Stradbroke Island which has beautiful beaches and walks and sometimes whales and dolphin sightings. There is access to major shopping centres at Victoria Point, Carindale or Garden City. There is a train station to take you comfortably to the city of Brisbane where you can cruise down the river. There are buses to get around. Cleveland itself has some peaceful walkways and bike paths for you to stroll, ride, and enjoy.

due to extreme weather conditions our venue performance(musical) was postponed , so we contacted the accommodation though BOOKING and informed them. Thankfully they allowed us to hold the booking credit until the performance date is relayed to us. Thanks again ,will contact them as soon as we get updated performance date'🤗

Never ended up staying. Found out the day before check in that it was a share house and we would also be sharing the bathroom with someone else. We do not feel comfortable with that. If I was advised before the 7 day cancellation period I would have canceled immediately. I am waiting for a full refund and if that doesn’t happen I will be contacting the ombudsman. Nearly all the other hotels in the area expressed that they have had so many people complaining about the same.

The Lobby and hotel room felt new and modern. When the renovations are completed and the materials/deliveries removed, the hotel grounds will be quite nice with large colourful plants and garden areas. The staff were responsive and maintained a positive and helpful persona. Although most of the hotel was closed during the '3-4 day Lockdown', meals we're directly delivered to the room.

Arriving at 3pm and finding a park was easy after a long drive. Reception staff were very friendly staff, particularly a hit with the kids was "Bay", who is especially welcoming. The hotel has a lovely pool area, quiet location, free parking. A little out of the way of local restaurants, but a $20 return taxi to dinning precinct makes up for that.

We came to Cleveland for a birthday party and did not want to drive home. We wanted two separate bedrooms and had a two bed apt. The unit was great. Clean, tidy, comfortable and quiet. It was only five minutes to all the destinations we needed to go. We would definitely recommend and definitely stay here again

Stayed for a second time to get away from life's hassles. No sirens, no noise, no nothing. 10 min walk or 2 min drive for bars and food. Markets on Sunday, Cleveland Point for breakfast. Love it.
