The room was very clean, basic but comfortable with a small outdoor table and chairs to enjoy a cuppa and watch the other travellers go by. A slightly warmer welcome would have been appreciated after a long drive but I guess Covid has made owners a little jaded..understandably I guess.

Not much there but the chalets were lovely and the hotel had good meals at night ..also the hungry wombat was great for breakfast and lunch The wall in the wilderness is mind blowing. It is just beautiful in a lovely building with nice cafe ...

Welcomed by friendly host Louise, who gave us information regarding suggestions of site seeing while there and places to eat. We stayed in the Hugel studio chalet. Our room was warm, well appointed with a comfy bed and roomy bathroom. It was private and loved the planting of shrubs and trees around our chalet. Great meal at the hotel, friendly people and atmosphere, with huge wood fires.

Bed was beautiful, clean , warm room. I did make note I needed a 2.30 check in on the notes, This could not be accomodated when I arrived at 2.30. Suggestion that the owner work in with the other business, ferry arrives at 1.30 check in could be 2.00 as walkers are cold , and dirty , this may attract more walkers to stay the night and support the hotel and accommodation.

Warm , clean and beautifully appointed bedding and quality cooking appliances in the kitchen area of the HUGEL SUITE. Only a short drive to St Clair information Centre to start our hikes. Went to the Derwent Bridge Hotel for their famous Sri Lankan Curry and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Also don't miss The WALL ..only five minutes up the road.

Good self catering cabin. Comfortable bed and nice clean facilities. A modern apartment in Melbourne CBD would cost less but the price was ok for being next to lovely Lake St Clair National Park. Good food and drinks at close by Derwent Bridge hotel.

A comfortable stay. Nice individual cottages, well equipped. A pleasant walk across Derwent Bridge to the pub for dinner (or a very short drive) Perfect for a visit to The Wall in the Wilderness or Lake St Clair National Park.

Good location for visiting Lake St Clair. Well equipped kitchen with small milk provided. We ate at the hotel down the road and walked there both nights. Parking right outside the cabin. Manager very friendly and helpful.

Very welcoming staff and the cabin was warm and comfortable. The accommodation is very conveniently positioned next to the local cafe and just down the road from Derwent Bridge hotel which does exceptional dinner!

Very clean, great bed & absolutely everything we needed. The only thing is that we thought it was a little on the expensive side, but one doesn't have much choice if you choose to stay in Derwent Bridge

Size and layout of the cabin was good and it was very clean. Derwent Bridge is strategically located about halfway between Hobart and Strahan which makes it a good overnight stop.
