The property is in the process of renovation, which it needs, to be honest. More importantly, the manager was very helpful and professional and the price reflected the current condition of the rooms. It was in an excellent location and convenient for the local hospital - the reason for our stay.

Great place as a stop over.
Great place as a stop over. We had an event on in Moe an then Morwell the next day. Only live in Cobains 90 ks away but it was so convenient for us to stay there and not have to travel. Being older people it was relaxing and less stressful for us. Great places to eat as well.

Morwell is a country centre with lots of facilities.
Morwell is a country centre with lots of facilities. On a Sunday, however, everything was closed. Not even a cafe was open for a cuppa. We browsed through some lovely giftware at the newsagents, until the shop closed at 10 am. There were plenty of choices for dinner on Saturday night, and we found the Oriental Jade restaurant to be excellent value with delicious food and friendly wait staff. The small regional art is excellent. The rose gardens will be lovely in a couple of months time. We attended a Father's Day event at the German Club, which was great.

Very close to everything in Gippsland. If your doing day trips it’s so nice to come back to a comfortable hotel who also supply a delightful breakfast. If you are needing supplies you are next door to Aldi and Red rooster. Within walking distance to bus and train as well as other shops. Mid Valley shopping centre just 3klm away

I live in Morwell so I am biased, I like Morwell as it is...
I live in Morwell so I am biased, I like Morwell as it is within 2 hours of the city, beaches and mountains. It has the Rose gardens, Nice lake at Kernot hall. Multicultural and every one is friendly and says hello. The place is transitioning from the local Power industry to a diverse range of industry's. The government is setting up information hubs, There is a new technology school being built. A forensic centre has also opened. There is still plenty of manufacturing being done in the area with the local skilled tradespeople. The education front it also covered with a University located in Churchill. Still lots of farms and faming communities in the area. Local wineries and local hiking/biking trails round out the area.

No contact from reception as we were checking in late. When we arrived the hotel looked like it was closed/had long term tenants. I rang the reception and they advised me to go to another hotel over the road and keys would be in the room. There were no keys in the room but the beds were clean and comfy. A very different check in process.

it’s was clean, easily accessible and nice comfy high beds! a great little motel in Morwell! my hubs and I had a stopover night here and it was fantastic. nice and clean and very friendly staff. he ended up leaving his laptop by accident (classic) and they were very accomodating in holding it until we came to pick it up!

I like the Google TV I been watching travel videos and car racing videos as well on Friday I went to the Grover club at the Morwell RSL on Saturday I went to rose garden festival I had a fantastic weekend stay in Morwell and I hope to stay again at some point.

From memory this accommodation was one of the cheapest on our holiday so I was surprised with how good it was. We were upgraded, the breakfast was more than adequate, and even complementary Cadbury's bar in the room!
