The property is in a lovely secluded location that is still accessible to a range of nearby breweries and wineries! Our stay was only very short but enjoyed the outlook and the fabulous communication from the owner. The bedding was comfortable and clean, well presented.

Rothbury is close to many of the wineries and also, more importantly for us as it was a kid centred holiday, Rothbury was convenient to The Hunter Valley Gardens, aqua Golf, parks of Cessnock, bike riding options and horse riding options.

Everything is so easy to get to, roads are great and no more than 15 minutes to get to any location. Covid protocols make it much more difficult to do a simple cellar door visit but all wineries were very accommodating if number allowed.MichaelAustralia

It was also very private and comfortable, plus we were surrounded by wildlife e.g. Kangaroos, Horses. It was overall a great family experience, the kids loved it. So much better than staying in a boring hotel. It was a true country getaway.
