There are lots of pros and cons about Haskovo and Bulgaria...
There are lots of pros and cons about Haskovo and Bulgaria in general. We felt it was like coming back in last century with facilities. We just could not put up with smoking everywhere. There are no cash machines around and you have to pay in cash in most places. No free drinking water facilities. Not many lamp posts outside, roads conditions leave much to be desired and people say it is not safe to go out late when it is dark… Not many people speak English or pretend they don’t understand and local people take advantage of you, offering double prices for taxi and other services. Good place to play tennis but not sure we would like to come back there next time.SvetlanaUnited Kingdom

The location is in the heart of town! everything you may need are in a walking distance! immediate communication was really a PLUS, as whatever was needed Irena was there! If you travel with car there is plaenty of public space around that you can park! If you travel with your family and extra ammenities are needed, Irena took care of everything!!Even toys and games were there for our kids! For sure we will visit again Haskovo and Charisma apaetment! take care till next time!!George AGreece

Spasidar (sorry if I mispelt your name!) spoke excellent english and was so helpful and welcoming. A problem with the shower was sorted out promptly. If you want a generic hotel experience, look elsewhere, but if you want something friendly, quirky and a little bit different, look here. It's close to the centre and handy for everything. We only intended to stay one night, but it turned into two. They kindly allowed us a late checkout also. Very accommodating!

It has a nice terrace and a pool if you like to join although the pool is shared with outside customers. There is a small playground for kids so that is also a plus if you have them. The parking is outside the hotel entrance so I felt safe parking my car full of baggages there. The beds were nice and the crib for the baby was arranged as booked. The host had taken care of every detail and the apartment was decorated with style. The place was very clean and cosy and equipped with all the necessary items. There were 2 seperate bedrooms and a living room and it was comfortable for 4-5 adults. Definitely recommend!
