Food was good and good value. The tour of crooked tree bird sanctuary was amazing. We were on our own but we noted that both Road Scholar and National Geographic used the resort as a base for a couple of days. Mariano, the manager, is super nice and so knowledgeable about Belize and the local wildlife. Pointed out to me the monkeys in the trees above our room and the beautiful birds flying overhead. Restaurant has excellent local food. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Close to the airport.

Absolutely lovely grounds. 2. staff: every one of the staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. 3. room: spacious, comfortable beds, shower very nice, and a lovely, large balcony area to sit in.

We enjoyed the property so much we booked an extra night. Beverly and Douglas, the couple who manage the hotel are incredibly kind and welcoming and treat their team with such respect.
