Overall, Cafe Acadien was a great place to stay for the night after kayaking down the Bonaventure River. There was a late afternoon storm that cut power in the town (a tree branch fell on a hydro line) so we couldn't have dinner in the restaurant, but the included breakfast the next morning was very good.

Loved the big balcony overlooking the shore of the Baie du Chaleur. We got there really early due to an unforeseen change in plans, and we were let into our room right away! Very, very kind of them. This is well worth a stay. Food in restaurant Kano was delicious!JimCanada

A quick 15 min walk along the scenic pier takes you into town with restaurants and amenities. The bed was comfortable and the rooms / shared bathrooms were clean and as advertised. Our host was lovely and kind enough to accommodate our bicycles with secure storage.
