love everything about our stay except that we had no power on day 1 due to our neighbours breaking the breaker. The tents are not equipped with warm comforters which is fine in the shoulder season if you have the heater on but otherwise freezing.

It rained after we arrived, so we didn't explore too much. The following day we went of a hike near Madeira Park called Francis Point. It was absolutely beautiful and picturesque. It is a quiet place and perfect for a get away with a partner or family.

We had a lovely belated anniversary trip to the Sunshine Coast and the Enchanter Ocean View Suites was perfect for our stay. We loved the location, the very friendly owners, Shelley and Peter, and the hot tub! They had wonderful advice for the best places to hike and eat. Our room was a bit smaller than I'd pictured but it is because the house is the shape of a geodesic dome! We highly recommend this accommodation.

There was very little to see or do there in the winter time.

There was very little to see or do there in the winter time. We had to drive 30km to get to a restaurant to eat. There were 2 restaurants at Madeira Park, a Japanese one and a Mexican one. They were not open for the first two nights. The pub closest to the Sunshine Resort called the Grasshopper Pub, was closed and will be for the next 3 months. There is no where to walk unless you drive to a walk. I had to walk on the shoulder of the highway to get exercise. The view of the Bay is gorgeous. If you are a kayaker or fisher person, you will love it. If you just want peace and quiet and a place to relax, this is your place.

We ended up changing our room to include a bbq, and an area for the grandkids to play all with a spectacular and amazing view!! Everything was perfect, my only suggestion would be to add a few extra utensils i.e. scissors, cheese grater and to mention they use a Keurig Coffee Maker - we brought coffee grounds ha!. Would highly recommend this Resort, close to Maderia Park for groceries, kids playground and more.

It was a great area for little drives to several beach access points and centrally located between Egmont and Sechelt. The beaches are better suited to combing and exploration that sunbathing. There are several places to picnic and beautiful walks through rolling hills. Skookumchuck is definitely worth the hike for those who can manage intermediate to difficult hiking. The last kilometer is particularly difficult with steep climbs over roots and rock. The hike itself is spectacular and the narrows are an amazing natural phenomenon.

BEAUTIFUL!!! So, this park was great.

BEAUTIFUL!!! So, this park was great. It wasnt hard at all, as it was fairly level ground 85% of the way. The trails were well maintained, with great lookout points throughout. I really enjoyed all the plaques along the entire route telling some history, animals that are found in the area & also trees, vegetation & unique things throughout. I would highly recommend this trail, as it does take you out to the ocean. Those views & breeze make it worth it alone. There are many spots to stop - benches littered throughout, cool view points & closer to the end, there are plenty of rock beaches to sit on & soak up the sun. We brought a small lunch for the hike, which we ate at the end of the trail where we soaked up the sun. Wonderful hike with rich history! Loved it-

Although the property is a little dated (don’t expect all new fixtures and fittings) it was really comfortable and in a great location with grounds overlooking Pender Harbour. Kids loved the grounds and exploring. The best part were the staff who were really friendly and accommodating. It really felt different and more personal than other larger chain hotels that we’ve stayed at. Highlight was renting the speed boat for a trip around the harbour and a bit of fishing.

The hotel and area are an ideal getaway from the city. Very quiet. Right beside the ocean. Beautiful views from the hotel. The bed was comfortable. The room had a functional kitchenette, good for making basic meals. The hotel has a hot tub on a deck built right over the water. Very relaxing.

there was misleading information in the first place when I booked that cottage via Booking.com. I paid for 4 persons but after confirmation, the hotel charged me more because of the number of people.

The resort is located in the Madeira Park ,so there are not many choices for food! Only one IGA market , one breakfast cafe named Java dock. The ruby lake is a place must to go .

I like supporting local, and I thought this was a hotel, not a b&b so you have to clear up some of the confusion in the posting. It was clean, well maintained and "cute".
