Very friendly and welcoming staff. Large, comfortable rooms, high quality bathroom, large comfy bed. The restaurant was excellent with a lovely informal atmosphere, outstanding food and extensive wine selection. The owner even helped us get our car started the next morning because the battery was flat - outstanding!

My recent stay at Hostellerie du XVI Siècle was delightful. From the moment we walked in, the staff's warmth and helpfulness made us feel right at home. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and boasted the kind of comfort that made winding down after a day of work an absolute pleasure. Very nice hotel in a quite place. We liked the pool outside (you can get extra towels at the reception), the billiard table and the fitness room both for free. There are also toys available for small kids, and the possibility to use the sauna/wellness and to play tennis (you have to pay extra). Good breakfast and kind personnel. Chavannes-de-Bogis is an outstanding hotel, with a bed and breakfast feel, very clean and zen rooms, comfortable, great breakfast, and, most importantly, a wonderful caring staff - some of the best I have every met! Allina, Simona, Francine, and the others in the kitchen were warm, friendly, knowledgeable and truly focused on taking care of clients. I hope to be back!
