Location was wonderful - right in heart of everything; good food - gelateria right next door, lake a short walk away. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Wonderful breakfast in the a.m. (worth paying to include); and the onsite restaurant for a dinner was delicious.

Rolle is really really pretty.
Rolle is really really pretty. The people are friendly and helpful. It is not far from Geneva. We used the trains which are fast, safe and clean . It is a lovely quiet town with gorgeous cafes and shops. It is a quick train ride to Lausanne ( city)

Rolle is a small town on the north shore of Lake Geneva, roughly mid-way between Geneva and Lausanne. As such is good for both cities, as well as lakeside activities, boats to other parts of the lake (from Nyon), and access to the wine area which runs along slopes immediately above it. Its not a shopping town - there is only one commercial street, but there a a variety of restaurants and very nice cafes along it. There's a small chateau, marina, camp site, beach, and lake-side promenade. All in all a good base.PeterUnited Kingdom

The fact that you can open the windows on a hot evening beats most 4 star hotels in the lake that claim to have AC but actually only have a water cooling system that does very little and no windows (like the Mövenpick). The owners are great and very helpful. My family and I had a great time and would certainly stay there again. The location is excellent. 25 minutes from the Geneva Airport and halfway to Lausanne. Rolle is also a nice little town with good restaurants.

Room was decent size. Close to road but quiet. No aircon i recall. Fan only. Parking available in a public car park and no issues with that. Parking just for a couple of cars outside in the hotel's places but these are quickly taken.

I appreciated that the room had independent entrance direclty from outside so you are not disturbed by any other guests.
