It's a little gem of a place!
It's a little gem of a place! We enjoyed the local pool at Bad Boll and were 20 mins drive from a Thermal spa at Bad Ditzenach. All corona-distance managed and well organised. It felt very safe. Wonderful walks in the hills nearby, which are well signposted. Try the walk to Bosler. There's a place to eat at the top and the views are gorgeous.

Superb museum (Urweltmuseum Hauff) nearby in Holzmaden has amazing Jurassic fossils (mainly marine) including enormous ichthyosaurs, fascinating sharks, more crocs than you could shake a a stick at etc etc. No time for anything else in the area, despuite it looking goodfor walking.

We arrived quite late but the hotel staff suggested us some really good restaurants that were still open. Breakfast was great, rooms clean - all absolutely perfect. Next time for sure wil stay in the same hotel.

The friendly and knowledgeable owners made us and our little pooch feel very welcome. The room was big and the bed comfortable. Food was fantastic with a tasty pint of Paulaner to round it up.
