This is the place for someone, who has a car to travel from...
This is the place for someone, who has a car to travel from A to B. The sea is very stormy and overall pretty chilly. Keep in mind, that the weather suitable to swim is an average like 2 weeks per year. This place is ideal for German elderly people, they are a lot here. Food scenery overall is OK, simple, reach and moderately priced. I would not return, bit for local holidays in August it is interesting.

it's a nice town in the middle of Rügen from where you can hike, bike, drive or ride the train to almost every other part of the island. In the market plaza there's a very nice café with delicious breakfasts and the whole town is great.

It’s easy to get around Bergen auf Ruben by car.
It’s easy to get around Bergen auf Ruben by car. I can’t comment on public transport. We particularly enjoyed visiting Stralsund for the day. It had a good atmosphere and was picturesque. You can buy excellent salmon rolls from various boats on the quayside for a very good price. Visit the old brew house afterwards for a drink to wash it down!

Clean big room, luxury bathroom, good food. One big downside was the extreme noisy party night in the bar, it kept us and our 3 year old up until 24.00. If you are staying on Friday ask for a room that’s not viewing the garden at the back (the bar is also there)

Nicely furnished rooms, perfect kitchen equipment (stove, oven, dishwasher, utensils, dishes, pans and cutlery). Rather calm place, depends on the neighbours (we got pretty decent ones). Spacious rooms and kitchen. Perfect parking. Easy check-in and check-out (just pick-up/return the keys in the Parkhotel Bergen and go to your lodge).

The appartment is in wonderfull old house in village Zirkow, 10 kilometers from hotel in Bergen. Bedroom upstairs is amazing. A sauna is benefit for cold days.
