Super nice beach hotel, on the greatest location overlooking the inlet "fjord". We were fortunate to get a corner suite with beautiful view. Unfortunately we just stayed for one night, would very much like to come back another time. Breakfast buffet was very nice with anything we needed. If you want dinner in the hotel restaurant, remember to book in advance. We tried to get a table for early dinner, but not possible as it was fully booked.

Glucksburg faces west so it's a wonderful place to see the sun go down at a restaurant or bar on the coast. Glucksburg is situated in an area with residential neighborhoods. These neighborhoods include homes in classical architectural styles side by side with modern homes interspersed into wooded hillsides rolling down to the coast of Flensburg. There are good restaurants in a variety of price classes.

Fabulous breakfast (of course we got tired of it after 5 days, but the first days it was something to look forward to). The 5 star experience - that’s what we came for Nice surroundings - perfect for the outdoor walks. You don’t have to go to Flensburg, there is plenty to do around. The lobby bar is the place to be - super tasty cocktails and a friendly bar tender. We booked a room without sea view, but there was still a small sea view from our window :)

We loved that we could bring our dog for a reasonable fee and that the hotel provided food and waterbowls and a dogbed.
