We were turned away by the hotel as were not vaccinated. The receptionists said we should have looked up Google to find out if we could stay in that region of Germany.. I do believe that booking.com should have informed us. We had been driving for many hours from the Netherlands, I am 80 years old so was exhausted. Also the hotel should have told us before arrival. We carried on to Switzerland as the only option where we found a decent hotel. I am shocked to see that have since been charged the full amount by this hotel.MarkSwitzerland - 6.0Scored 6.0

Herbolzheim is very quite and almost nothing we can do around . I am surprised because a lot of halal restaurant there, i feel so glad. The banhof looks very very old, i havent seen any informatiin center. People around Herbolzheim are very kind, mostly big smile and warm. The best thing in herbolzheim is very closed to Europa park, and the bus to get there is free of charge.

The location was great as a base for traveling around to see different areas and only about a 10-15 minute drive to Europa-Park. On the down side eating in the area was sometime a bit of a challenge as restaurants close very early or only allow you in if you have a reservation.

Small sleepy village 10 minutes from Europa Park. Very picturesque with local supermarket, bakery, a few restaurants - all the basics. Great base for trips to Europa Park (10 minutes away) as well as outdoor climbing park. There is a nature reserve and wine tasting nearby as well.munichgirlUnited States of America

It was a fast check-in and easy as we know the location already. We've been there a few times. Nice area and location as you can have a few restaurants to take your breakfast. You can even decide to purchase your breakfast outside the hotel and enjoy good time at the terrace you have with your room. Really like the spot and the ambiance inside the hotel.

The sofa bed that turns into a bunk bed is impressive. There's now Aircon There's a restaurant burger king and McDonalds all walkable. There's an exercise area to burn off some energy. There's a garage with cheaper than London petrol. It also has a bakery in it. A good stop on the way to Italy. The breakfast is good but busy. Usual continental fare.
