Irschenberg was not the point of the trip ; we were visiting our son who lives nearby. The village is close to the autobahn ; easy journey to e.g. Berchtesgaden, Salzburg etc and to Munich itself and its airport.

We arrived late at night. We'd been driving all day from Italy and decided last minute to find a place to sleep for the night. We were very surprised to see it was attached to a small store for food and reception is right inside the store. The rooms were very modern, and CLEAN. The car park is secure and safe.
