We were there for the closure of the international art...
We were there for the closure of the international art exhibition, just along the road from the apartment, so it was a perfect location for us. We had two meals in the Roemer, which is a splendid restaurant. Having said that, we know the food at the Dalmaccjia is excellent, too. On Saturday afternoon we went paddle boating on Maria Laac's lake.

It rained for two days but this didn't matter! The town is friendly and there is lots to see and do in the area with Genovevaburg, Slate Musuem and lots of attractions such as Schloss Burresheim. Burg Cochem and the fabulous Burg Eltz quite close. There is also the Vulcanpark and Nurburgring and the Mosel Valley in the area. You will need a car to see it allJane SivochaUnited Kingdom

But inside everything is very modernized. The room was very clean. And big, although the furniture was not to my taste (and will not be the taste for many people). Big bathroom, also very clean. Friendly staff. Great you can park your car for free. Good price-quality.
