A good base to explore the region. Beautiful views.
A good base to explore the region. Beautiful views. Plenty of things to do and see. The Ludwig II Palace, great beer, lovely quiet lakeside places to chill. Cycling around the area popular and lots of trails which are largely flat. Also a direct hourly train service to Munich and Salzburg if you fancied an excursion. You can find plenty to do for a week.

The place is very clean, the room is cozy and modern. The common areas of the hotel are in typical bavarian style which I like very much - this was our main reason for choosing the hotel. It was minimalist but perfectly adequate, comfortable and cosy. I loved the creative flare in the design of the small wooden cabins. There were many creative structures around the property. The timber framed breakfast hall was delightful ...fit to be a wedding venue. Breakfast was great. The price / value was good.
