We have visited Alella several times to visit family
We have visited Alella several times to visit family It is a pleasant tranquil town . You can get into Barcelona easily by bus or train . Also regular train to coastal resorts further up the coast . For lovers of wine there are wine tasting tours in the area .

The entry to the hotel is not easy in a low car, I scraped the underside front of mine on the way in ( going out was ok). I was aware of a charge for parking but when we arrived we noted it was a big enough car park inside the hotel grounds. I saw the car park charge as a means of upping the price. My fault probably but be aware. Bathroom was small but adequate. The washbasin was in the bedroom. Dinner (tapas) was poor quality.
