I wanted to add to my other review that Davinia and Raul were amazing, wonderful hosts. They very much enhanced our visit with good ideas and knowledge of the area. We also received knowledge about the foods which were served and a quick course in all things olive oil. It was so great. We would visit every year if possible. Thank you to our wonderful hosts. We wish them all the best.

The staff were super friendly, even helping me out with some laundry, which isn’t actually a service. The breakfast is the best I’ve had in a hotel. Everything was so loving prepared and presented. It is all organic and locally sourced. Very comfy bed and pillows too. Nice pool to spend the afternoons at.

Perfect for getting away from it all, hiking and exploring the hill towns nearby. Raul is an impeccable host. He was very helpful in planning our stay and responsive to any needs. We had a lovely breakfast each morning and a delicious dinner at the hotel on the last night of our stay (by prior arrangement). Everything is organic at hospederia la era and the owners are so kind and supportive. You shouldn’t miss the breakfast, carefully cooked at home or bought from nearby artisans they work with. If you’re visiting Cordoba, or Granada, this is the place to give you a refreshing day-off away from the bustling cities.

Davinia and Raul work very hard to provide a charming escape. Such a refreshing change from many other hotels. Not only was breakfast fabulous but we would also recommend having dinner there. A great birthday treat, including the earrings!
