The expresso machine in the room is also a nice touch…especially in the morning before a long drive! Cuacos de Yuste is a nice little village, very close to loads of great hikes & sights. I think the hotel has a car park, but I just left my car parked out on the street as there’s loads of parking available, and it seemed secure. I’d definitely stay again!

There was a mutual delight in using Google Translate to assist our settling in. Having already eaten our main meal of the day before arrival, we did not dine in their award winning restaurant (but we wished we had). A good reason to visit again. Breakfast next morning was outstanding. This is a gem of a hotel, and is worth a considerable detour if you are not too far from Caucos de Yuste.

By the way, the meal at the restaurant deserve a visit by themself.
