Beautiful town. Fabulous river and weir.
Beautiful town. Fabulous river and weir. Plenty of good bars and restaurants. Be aware that the last Friday & Saturday of October is the Winter Fair (Feria). Restaurants are totally booked for lunch and dinners on both days. Best to make reservations well in advance. Surrounding Elizondo is amazing scenery and plenty of places to visit. Charming town with interesting Baztan Architecture which can be appreciated in a day. The river running through the town is delightful but Like so many European Towns are engineered to the hilt and the houses, restaurants turn their backs on their most valuable asset.
