Overnight stay travelling from France to Southern Spain. Hotel was a real find, food great service excellent and location was super for our route. Staff helpful and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Scenery around the area is stunning although the hotel itself is located in a more industrial area. Secure parking.

Take the time to explore and you wont be disapointed. Local Country Park has some excellent trails and @7km away is Castillo Granara which is a lovely walk up to the top with great views. Nice river along the valley too.

Its a very quiet town, and cold in March 'cause its in the mountains but .... We needed help with a broken car and an extra night in town. Everyone soo.... helpful A very friendly town if you have a little Spanish.

Irurtzun is a small city with not much to offer in terms of cultural or culinary attractions. However, we passed by when the festivities for carnaval were on. Several groups and a short parade took place on the main square, which was fun.

As always a very friendly welcome for us and our dog and our favourite hotel in Northern Spain for convenience, dog friendly and very helpful staff. Felt more expensive than it was. Perfect stopover for our transit from UK to Southern Spain. Restaurant was closed when we arrived but was able to grab a couple of beers and a pizza from the cafe to take to our room. Will stay again in the future.
