This is our 2nd visit across 8 yrs and we love it. Would come back again as its one of our favourites, little town with white washed buildings, Moorish castle it's history & most of all little courtyards covered with pots of flowers on walls, fences, verandah's with the most stunning views of the Moorish town, rivers, dams & hills of olive fields set high in the hills. It's very zen and peaceful. Lovely atmosphere. There wasnt a tv in rooms but this wasnt an issue as it was a peaceful place. Swimming pool was lovely. Home made food presented and served was excellent. You need to be pet friendly as they have two lovely dogs. Surrounded by mountains and lovely views . Carolina and Jean were friendly professional and there when you need them. A Very dedicated couple.

A very pretty town rising out of the lake, you need to be reasonably fit to walk around some of the hilly streets. The views are wonderful from the miradors. The town may benefit from a restaurant or two nearer the base of the town maybe offering a pizza for example. We didn't get the touristy vibe, maybe that's how the town wants it. This is a lovely place to wind down and relax away from the noise and bustle of daily life. Jean and Carolina make you feel at home immediately and you start to relax as soon as you arrive. Food, accommodation and setting are truly wonderful. One night will not be enough to fully appreciate this gem of a hotel.

The property is in a great position within walking distance of an excellent restaurant and the town of Iznajar. although some may prefer to drive to the town as it is up a steep hill. We couldn't fault the villa which was spotlessly clean with a great pool surrounded by a large terrace with plenty of loungers, tables and chairs. We would definitely return here if staying in the area in future.

Amalia - the hostess was very attentive and gave us lovely recommendations for tapas places in town. We enjoyed a relaxed day by the pool with a spectacular view over Iznajar castle and had a barbecue in the evening. The house and the pool were very clean and well equipped, with outdoor as well as indoor kitchen and a washing machine. I would definitely be coming back if I am ever back in Iznajar.AleksandraPoland

We also liked the location near some good restaurants and close to the top of town. Nice, comfortable room with a large bed, the Sevilla room.
