The property has 6 rooms we stayed in the Suite which offered very spacious accommodations and as it was a corner room great natural light and unobstructed view (on east side). As the property is small it is not attended 24/7 by front desk personnel but the staff is readily available when called upon and VERY nice and attentive. Very well taken off, clean, modern, and comfortable and with in minutes of many wineries on the area. We REALLY enjoyed our stay. And their winery had some tasty wine options.
This restored 300 year-old flour mill offers elegant accommodations and a gourmet restaurant. Rooms at Posada Fuente de la Aceña have a private balcony, with views of the Duero River.

For instance the castle tour portion at Peñafieli is only offered in Spanish and you can’t wander as individual. The wine museum offers English and French as well as Spanish and is self directed.

This is a tiny town that is nice as a base for visiting wineries and historic sites such as Peñafiel or the monasteries, and also for walking the path that goes along the Duero. The river is very beautiful at this point and you can go down and enjoy it. The town is very quiet. There aren’t many restaurants or bars in town, but you’re not too far away from some good places to eat.

Great service and staff. The pool was fantastic as it had jets and sprays throughout that acted as massages. There is also a connected pool outside, also with massage jets. Spa services are excellent. This is a family-owned hotel with several other special properties that they renovated to preserve their historical value. I look forward to returning ASAP
This is truly an amazing hotel!
Spectacular!
The breakfast&dinner, the pool, the room, the spa - superb!
But what is even better than all of those, is the staff.

Our welcome at the hotel was excellent- the staff are helpful and friendly - we had a lovely large room with beautiful views and the breakfast was superb - the spa facilities were also great
Wonderful location set within the old monastery. Amazing job converting the place in a luxury hotel. Great breakfast buffet. Great Clarins spa and close to most wineries
The facilities and hotel are excellent. And the staff in the reception and spa area were also first-class. But to be honest I´m not sure it merits a 5 star rating
