We had a one month stay in Les Hortensias from mid-September to mid-October. We loved everything about our stay: very comfortable, beautiful, clean accommodations, the surroundings and most importantly the hosts, Peter and Stuart, who made our vacation very enjoyable. There is so much to see and do in the area and around it. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our visit to this fascinating little town. Our hostess was beyond helpfull. She booked our table at our preferred local restaurant for us in advance of our visit. Although the parking was not directly beside the house, its up a quiet wee lane and we were quite comfortable leaving the motorbike there. The room was very nice and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the garden was stupendous. Big pot of coffee, selection of meats/cheese etc and an absolutely delicious clafoutie for which I got the recipe. She also gave us some good tips on places to visit on our onward journey. I'd stay here again

The lunch and dinner were fabulous and very delicious, large portions. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The hotel is quiet and quaint. They were able to store our luggage while we hiked. We had a baby with us in a crib in the room and everything fit perfectly, lots of space.
We had a nice time in Belvedere. Too bad we were only there for one day. Quentin is a great host. We didn’t meet live, but he provided great instructions and made a welcome. The accommodation is pleasantly decorated, the kitchen is very well equipped.
