Cotignac is a gem in the back country.
Cotignac is a gem in the back country. Close to many interesting places, the village itself is captivating. From walking the Main Street Cours Gambetta to venturing up the cliff faces to see the troglodyte caves, there is so much to do. One of the highlights was the sacred trinity church on the top of the hill. But the best part about the town was the delightful restaurants and staff. A wonderful place.

It was well worth the steep climb to visit the ancient caves, as it afforded a fantastic view of the whole valley. Cotignac was a real little gem, strolling through the town browsing the small boutiques & stopping to watch the men play pétanque in the early evenings. While we were there (July 14) the had a village Pasta party with dancing afterwards. Pretty much the whole village turned out.AAnonymousFrance - 10Scored 10

The appartment is located centrally in the beautiful little town of Cotignac right above local restaurants where you really can soak up the atmosphere of the town. I was greeted warmly by Laurence who helped me to locate a parking space and showed me the property. Having a fully equipment kitchen really gives you the convenience of being able to cook on those occasions you are not dining out. The appartment is immaculately clean and provides everything you need.

Clean and comfortable rooms. We had everything we needed. There is also a nice outdoor area that is especially wonderful at night when the cliffs are lit up.
