La Turbie is a very small town with café, hotel, bars and a few shops. Beautiful views of the med. It is a good starting point for some scenic cycle routes. It is close to Monaco which is well worth a visit. Just avoid travelling into Monaco at busy times as there are a lot of traffic jams. Should you wish there is a strenuous walk down the cliff path to Monaco which would take two hours each way.

La Turbie is truly idilic.
La Turbie is truly idilic. A beautiful town, on top of a mountain overlooking Monaco. It has plenty of character, little old streets, the very imposing Tropaeum Alpium, a Roman monument, visible from anywhere in town

In the morning you can see the sun rising on the left side and from the the old village La Turbie you can slightly hear the church bells. It is really a dream... a very beautiful one. It's right in the centre of the town, with an easy access to a public parking, very convenient to visit Monaco and wonderful Eze. The room was very comfortable, with a nice quiet terrace overlooking a garden. Breakfast was good. We definitely recommend this hotel.
