The one-bedroom apartment was spacious and thoughtfully appointed, the bed was very comfortable, and the location was convenient and very scenic. It’s also on the first floor and not in a hilly section of town! The host was charming, obliging, and helpful in providing dining and entertainment tips.

Nice town with some good restaurants, and a helpful Tourist Information Office. Two quibbles: the museum dedicated to Camille Pissarro had none of his work, and the so-called "A;péritif" cruise on the river only sold soft drinks! The nearby village of Auvers is worth a visit, especially with its château's presentation on Impressionist painters.

Pontoise is a city some 30 minutes out of Paris by train.
Pontoise is a city some 30 minutes out of Paris by train. If you are interested in the impressionist art movement, it is a place worth going to. A number of Abbeys and Chateaux are worth a visit. Don't forget to visit Auvers ur Pontoise and the little cemetery that has the burial places of Vincent Van Gogh and his brother Theo. Also a nice place to go to at the end of a visiting day in Paris .

I personally was very happy when I saw that there is a small kitchen, which enabled us to save on food during our stay. The location is amazing, because we would walk all day through Paris and it was pleasant that we would return to Pontoise which is quiet, beautiful city

Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were great, much better than expected, as well as the overall atmosphere of the hotel. The location is easy to access both on foot and by car.
