It was a clean hotel.
It was a clean hotel. It could be A very good 3 star hotel and not at all 5 star. Kind and polite personnels. Small room related to price. No facility in the room, not a table for example. Good balcony. Not really beach direct access, should walk to beach in the port. There are some activities in the website, but most of them hotel doesn’t arrange for you, they just give you a number / address and that’s you who should fix it. Porto Pollo is a small, nice, quiet village.
Porto Pollo is a small, nice, quiet village. There’s a supermarket and all the stores you need to get good local food and drinks. Enjoy a good meal at Les Sables Dorés, or the local vibe, drinks and food at 20140. Try the Myrthe at 20140, one of the best in my opinion. The beach is really nice and not too crowded. It’s not far from one of my favourite place to slam a few drinks in Corsica : Hotel Abbartello. As always, when traveling to Corsica, make sure to rent a motorcycle, car or scooter so you can visit easily. Cupabia beach is just a 15 minutes drive but totally worth it. Enjoy.

Porto Pollo is a beautiful resort with superb clean sandy beaches. Has water sport facilities and plenty of restaurants. We ate out most nights and our favorite restaurant Les Sables Dores. We found this area a good central point for visiting the south west coast of Corsica as we visited Ajaccio and Bonifacio. Although there is a main route through Corsica, the smaller roads are a nightmare at times as there are hare pin bends every few seconds.

The rooms are renovated and nicely furnished, the terrace is really big and invites to relax. The hotel staff is very kind and helpful, the concept of the hotel is really good. The beach is just 2min away by walking. The hotel restaurant was excellent, also the breakfast and service. The parking is big and for free, it was not a problem to let the car there on our last day while we where at the beach even after check out. We would definitely recommend this hotel!
