If you like mountains this is a lovely area, which quite a few walks and activities very close by, off the Tourmalet pass road or a bit further up the valley (canyoning, Via Ferrata, Tree-top adventure parks, paraglider etc). For hikers and cyclists, it's a brilliant area. You may end up having to return to Bagnères-de-Bigorre quite a few times for shops or cash, but it's not that far.ClaireUnited Kingdom

Loved we could sit outside on the front terrace and enjoy a pot of tea or a drink. Friendly atmosphere encourages the meeting of different travellers - hikers, cyclists and nature lovers. It’s a beautiful quiet part of France to visit with many scenic drives and hikes nearby.
