Good base for hiking and lots of visitor attractions and good restaurants nearby and in neighbouring villages. The Fort is a must do! English run indian restaurant the best in the south of France we have found in four years of living here, and when we visit again will go back here!

I came to this town 25 years ago as it was a great location for walking trips. It was always on my bucket list to come again and finally this year I came and did the walks again. Surprisingly I was more fitter this time round. Vernet-les-Bains has adequate amenities and restaurants for good eating

The setting is fabulous - perched high overlooking the town of Vernet-les-Bains - and a short walk from the small square (which has a bank, bakery and a few restaurants) and the church at the top of the old town. It is alo a good starting point for walks into the hills. The house itself is beautifully restored and nicely decorated - the host Annie is very helpful, and the breakfast is magnificent...a table laden with healthy food by an open window in a large salon...what a start to the day!
I liked the parking lot in the park of the hotel, the big swimming pool, the room dedicated to sport and games, the great breakfast in the beautiful dining room of the family mansion, the peaceful park and the view onto the village and the mountain above the hotel from the room balconey, and the advice of our host about the visits in the area. :)
A charming hotel that's larger than I expected it would be, but still small enough to retain a personal feel with the staff. The restaurant was a welcomed option on an otherwise quiet night in the town, serving a tasty and good value menu du jour in addition to a regular menu. The single room was simple but perfectly adequate and comfortable.
Very good apartment with two separate bedrooms. Situated in an old hotel I believe. Kitchen well equiped. Situated near the town center. Town itself it's quite interesting and worth a longer walk. What we liked the most was a big terrace with a great view on the western side of Vernet and especially the Pyrenees in the distance.
This hotel is in a beautiful, quiet, country setting very close to the center of town. We were only going to stay one night but decided to stay on for a second. The owner was a huge help to us in planning our ongoing hike, transportation and accommodations.
The room was perfect for us as a couple for exploring Vernet-les-Bains and the surrounding area. There was a microwave, toaster, and kettle to make simple meals and a table to eat at. The bath had a good hot water supply. Not fancy, but very comfortable.
Fantastic location with an incredible view from the balcony! Vernet-les-bains was also a great location for many different towns and walks in the area. And the apartment itself was very well stocked with cooking equipment and was very good value.
Everything. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Hotel Delphina was a delight. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and filled with wonderfull furniture, paintings and lamps. Breakfast was a feast of lovely produce.
Nice little hotel with lovely friendly people, nested in the middle of a lively village. Very good connection to tons of hiking trails right from the town and a couple of km away. Would come back!
