The housekeeper for Sycamore was lovely and friendly. The pod had everything you could need - other than there was nowhere to put your clothes (no wardrobe or drawers) so everything remained in our cases. Having a sink and a fridge was good as we had breakfast in the pod. Ate in the hotel both nights and staff were excellent.

All the mod cons of home on one floor which suited my wife's limited mobility on stairs. Handy little shop at bottom of the street which did cooked sausage, bacon etc if you were a bit lazy. Bus stops nearby to both Alloa and Stirling if you fancy shopping or sightseeing.

It was a 10 minute walk away which was perfect. The staff are all very lovely. a lovely Scottish breakfast each morning set us up for the day.
