The duty manager was very rude and unhelpful. Did not want to listen and when I informed him that he was being rude acted like a child. I have stayed in the hotel on several occasions, but I now won’t be booking a hotel for my overnight stays. I will also instruct my team not to used this hotel.

The property was charming and the special touches like a welcome note, lots of tea and coffee and chocolates, milk in the fridge and lots of towels were nice touches.

It is a new home with facilities in very excellent condition, easy to use and accessible. The host went extra lengths to ensure my needs were catered for. Host also seemed a good listener and very accommodating of specific needs. I did not have any issue at all as the service was exquisite.

Very friendly, the best Chinese food I’ve ever eaten in the UK. Great little coffee shop full of friendly staff and local customers.
The perfect place for a rural weekend stay over, but not too remote from London.

We were traveling further afield so only stayed one night. Went for a walk around the area in the evening and found a very well equipped sports field which was well used by locals.
Can't comment any further.

The staff are all very friendly, and it was a genuine welcome. The hotel is very very clean, old, and full of character. It's a fabulous place to stay.
Although we didn't eat there the meals we saw looked amazing.
I will be returning again.
Gorgeous hotel. Staff very friendly and eager to help on the whole. Lovely decor throughout the property. Ample space in the bedroom with very large ensuite bathroom. Free parking available and close to the event I was attending. Although I didn't get to make use of it, the late check out is a great thing.
Car parking is opposite the hotel and plenty of spaces available when we arrived at 5pm.
Room was perfect! Recently refurbished and spotless.
Bed super comfy.
Bar served London Pride and Doom Bar. LP in good condition.
Dinner was also very good. Got a voucher on line and meal was half price
Everything about this hotel was perfect for a loan business traveller, except for the location. Whilst I was only 5 miles from my place of work, the traffic through town was so congested and slow that it took me 40 minutes to travel the short distance required.
A comfortable room that was suitably lit to enable me to work easily. Many hotel rooms are dimly lit. There was a problem when I arrived and the hotel was shut, but the staff did there best to accommodate.
This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. for the cost of the stay, it was far better than we had expected. We had stayed at quite a few other hotels on our visit, and this was by far the best.
