Thankfully the next door room (a nice couple) weren't on their honeymoon - otherwise it could have been even more bizarre.
According to reception 50% of all rooms have an adjoining door - which has little (if any) sound proofing.
Stay here and you will have a 50% chance of hearing every word (sound) your neighboring room makes. NOT GOOD !

Over priced and staff need to be more on the ball - although the evening receptionist was helpful morning reception was almost indifferent. I raised all issues described and left it for 5 days to hear anything from management - nothing so hence the candid review

I booked the hotel as a treat for my mum and dad, my dad turned 80 on Sunday and as we were having a party thought a wee overnight would revive them, and that’s exactly what it did. From the minute they arrived everyone was so welcoming, the room, the food and the view were all excellent, they now cant wait to return!

Room excellent bed very comfortable.
Room excellent bed very comfortable.
Only criticism of room was lack of privacy. We asked for room without stairs but spent our time having people and workmen passing our window all day.
Wi-Fi almost useless even after reporting a problem with it

The overall experience was superb and particularly enhanced by all the staff we encountered. They are an asset to the Country Club, whether in the hotel or restaurant you received a friendly welcome and nothing was too much for them. The food in the Palominos restaurant was excellent and not overly priced. There was a good choice of buffet breakfast served in the hotel accommodation.
This similarly Harry Potter Movie location waa activated on arrival! Every experience was magical; the vast beautiful scenic acres of land and surroundimgs, the efficient hotel staff, the relaxing spa and the tone down musical evening filled with a gifted pianist playing songs of choice for 3 hours each night.
A truly magical trip and experience to be relived!
Great staff who were super welcoming. Well set up for kids who are welcomed in all parts of the hotel. Enjoyed the pool and the fact kids were allowed in whenever. Breakfast was a great selection, even for a fussy 4 year old. We got an upgrade to a junior suite which was huge and fabulous, gave us so much space as a family to enjoy the hotel experience.
Ingliston was located not to far out of Glasgow in the countryside. it was beautiful scenery. Horses are kept here so we watched some of them exercise. The restaurant and staff were so friendly. The bartender took a recipe from me to make my favorite drink. The pricing was so reasonable as we were in one of the cabins. I highly recommend it.
The staff on reception and in the hotel bar and restaurant were very good. The rooms were spacious and clean - and the building is lovely. However, all is in need of an upgrade and I believe this is on the cards - but room rate that we got reflected this, and was good value.
The breakfast was very poor not to the standard I would expect for a country club hotel . The bed linen , quilt and pillows were very poor quality . My daughter and I were both violently sick after eating at the restaurant so all in all not a great experience !!
The staff were lovely, especially at the restaurant. Our meal there was really tasty and very good value. We had view of the outdoor showjumping area from our bedroom, so it was lovely to watch people training on the horses. Overall a very relaxing stay.
This hotel was first class, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was huge and very clean with beautifully views. The evening meal was delightful aa was the breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
It’s a historic hotel. The staff was excellent very helpful and so kind. The place was amazing the views were amazing the garden and the rabbits that were wandering around the garden made everything special.
The whole experience was amazing , the hotel the restaurant and the food. The view from the hotel room was beautiful.
Would recommend and will be returning at some point.
