It's a busy little town, plenty places to eat or get take away food, beautiful country walks, some specialist shops and lots of outdoor activities and attractions. It
has a great caravan park with lodges and glamping pods and fishing on the river. Caithness Glass has a viewing gallery to see glassblowing and is located at the visitor centre. Drummond Castle and gardens is a must, not far out of town at Muthill.

A busy town on the outskirts of the highlands.
A busy town on the outskirts of the highlands. It is close enough to the high mountains which many will be keen to explore. There were plenty of places to eat; I chose an Italian and was not disappointed. Crieff itself is small enough to be explore on foot; the Glen Turret distillery is a short 20-minute walk from the centre of the town.

Crieff itself is 4 out of 5.
Crieff itself is 4 out of 5. A number of boarded up shops (but this seems to be prevalent everywhere). However, on the plus side, traffic flows very well, the people are friendly and helpful and there is a good diverse range of shops available. Parking is easy. The greatest attribute is the beautful surrounding area. I'd recommend staying out of town to ge the best experience.

Small town with a ton or outside activities.
Small town with a ton or outside activities. Loads of hiking trails, nice golf course right next to town, most everything is in walking distance. The distillery has a beautiful bar but food is quite pricy. Ate at KBs Italian restaurant for dinner - delicious! Love the town and the residents!

We were in Crieff to take part in an organised classic car...
We were in Crieff to take part in an organised classic car rally from Perth to Glencoe and back. Crieff was perfectly placed for that. Set in beautiful Perthshire countryside with easy access to everywhere really. The town itself is pleasant.
The location of the property was perfect for our needs for a short holiday visiting family around the Perthshire area. The accommodation in the property was ideal for us and well maintained and comfortable. Only a few minutes walk down a lane to the busy town centre below and what was noticeable was that the property was remarkably quiet throughout being just above the main road to Perth.
A lovely property to spend a holiday. Owners very nice and helpful.
The location was perfect, within walking distance of town but also with easy access by foot to lovely country walks, bike rides, and the activities at Crieff Hydro. The gardens were stunning. We saw lots of wildlife (red squirrels, hedgehogs etc) and the children loved having a stream in the garden. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The cottage was very cosy and well-equipped, and it was great to be able to bring our dog too.
We loved the location and the lodge was so cosy and comfortable for us all. Spectacular views of the loch and the mountains with their dusting of snow made it special.
The lodge was very well equipped had plenty of dishes, glasses and very comfy bedding. Beautiful Perthshire water on tap.
Hot tub maintained every day by owner.
The dog park was an added bonus for 2 lively labradors.
We will be back.
Thanks Wallace
We’ve been going to Crieff Hydro for over thirty years and have witnessed huge changes. A huge host of activities and events available for all ages. Activity Glen also has so many fun activities, at a cost. Lovely walks in the area. Staff incredibly helpful and pleasant in all areas. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Meikle bar a lovely area to sit in.
Joe who ran the lovat was great nothing was to much trouble and he also did a great breakfast it was very clean and comfortable and the area was great only a 5 minute walk from the main part of town would definitely recommend lovat House to anyone wanting to visit crieff and me and my family will definitely be returning
Lovely property beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The owners were very welcoming and could not have done more to ensure that we had a wonderful time. Breakfast was amazing and was all freshly prepared to order. Certainly would recommend and would not hesitate in returning should we be back in the area.
Beautiful one bedroom flat with spacious living area and kitchen, own bathroom.
The bed was super comfy.
Ideal position in town centre and close to everything.
Very clean and tidy. Everything you would need included.
Stephan the host very friendly and accommodating.
Amazingly comfortable bed, beautiful view from the room, sweet little sitting area inside the room set up with tea service. Jean was such a lovely hostess; very kind and friendly. We very much enjoyed chatting with her over a delicious breakfast.
The best hosts ever. They couldn’t do enough to make our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. We will try booking again for the times we are in the area for work so fingers crossed we can secure our dates . Best service in Scotland.
The property is right in Crieff with a very nice pub just across the street. Because Crieff is central to many special Scottish areas it made this place a great base to start from.
Great sized room, comfy bed and good amenities. Bar downstairs was great and loved the pub dog! Easy walk to Crieff Hydro where we were attending a wedding. Staff very friendly.
Everything was perfect:the back garden, the comfortable bed, the attentive and gracious staff, the relaxed atmosphere. This was the best hotel experience in a long time.
I loved the hotel, its staff and the food we had. It was a great place to travel around , visit the sites and go to use Crieff Hydro facilities. Brilliant!
