It doesn’t look like the pictures! Offering a breakfast! Only to find out the restaurant / breakfast area was up for rent and a big sign outside! Not what it advertised, only stay if it’s the last chance saloon! And you fancy popping a slice of bread in the toaster in the morning! Up side there’s a Macy 100 yards down the road!! Good luck 🤞.

The Sat-Nav made no mistakes and took us into the car-park.This is the worst place I have stayed in.I have the bed bug bites to prove it !!.
If i was a fighter pilot and had a full assortment of bombs and machine gun fire,I would irradicate this place off the map,and save the suffering of paying customers the onslaught of this place.

Have made complaint and booking.com have refused to offer any compensation as they state the hotel deny issues. Shower doesn’t work, WIFI doesn’t work, sofa bed ripped, breakfast is a joke. No milk!!

The excellent Dunstable Grove Theatre is close to The Old Palace Lodge Hotel with a huge variety of top quality shows throughout the year.
A short drive from the town centre takes you to Dunstable Downs a great view point and visitor centre. Dunstable has a good selection of various shops, restaurants, cafes and take aways.
Great room size and temperature. The bathroom was clean. The bed was super comfortable and we had a relaxing stay. The concierge were helpful and friendly. We had a bed and breakfast stay where the breakfast was decent. It was a shame that the weather was wet as the grounds outdoors looked beautiful. We would have loved to spend an evening there with a drink. We would recommend this hotel to others. The hotel was in a great location - not far from Whipsnade zoo, which we visited, and not far from shops and local restaurants.
I really appreciate staying in a newly furnished apartment while I stay in the area for work. Not many apartments in Dunstable and Luton so this is a great little gem. Had everything I needed while I stayed with Aimee.
Great features, spacious and just had a really comfortable stay. Had allocated parking which I was worried I wouldn’t have + the kitchen, bathroom and living room were fully equipped with entertainment and amenities. Would definitely stay again with Huku Kwety
This was a one night business trip and I chose the guest house as it was close to the work location.
I had a friendly greeting and was informed I’d managed to over pay and was reimbursed immediately. The place is spotlessly clean and comfortable and the breakfast was well cooked full English with lots of choice of cereal, yogurts tea and coffee as well, if I need to revisit this area this guest house will be my first choice to stay at
there is a restaurant/pub on site, which is very convenient. Staff all seem to be local and are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We came in later than expected and no one was at the reception desk, so we just walked into the restaurant and a girl came immediately. the rooms are old and probably could use updated, but the bed was comfortable and the shower good. Short drive to Dunstable (or take a bus) which is a very charming town.
Potentially quiet location, well positioned for the funeral I was due to attend in west Luton the following morning. The heating stayed on all night. Bathroom was exceptionally clean, though spoiled by an almost finished loo roll which should really have been removed. (Yes, there was a new one to replace it.)
I did not order or pay for it, but a full cooked English breakfast would have been available if I had wanted it.
We were upgraded to the room we thought we had booked and it was fantastic. We booked the hotel based on at the photos on booking.com unfortunately the initial room we received was nothing like the photos and we were very disappointed. When we noted this with the hotel staff, they immediate put in the room that we thought we were getting at no extra charge. We were thrilled. We will book again at the hotel.
The property is well situated for my needs when visiting Dunstable. it’s history is an added bonus to what always is a comfortable and enjoyable stay. the garden is a great place to sit and eat, if the weather is playing nicely. The whole experience is capped by a staff who are attentive, always helpful and friendly and welcoming.
A warm welcome. Staff helpful and friendly at all times. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was of a high quality, fresh juice and milk. A good choice of cereals and spreads for toast. Staff kept the area immaculately clean and always ensured sufficient food was available.. Lovely view from the window!
Great location if you going to venue on the High Street or closeby area.
Really clean rooms and fully fitted (communal) kitchen which is great if you rather just make your own meal.
Decent size bed, and comfy (it is very depends of your liking) mattress.
Very friendly stuff. Thank you for the great hosting.
First time staying at a hotel after long time. But so much happy to choose The Highwayman hotel. Very clean rooms. Beds were comfortable. Staff is friendly. We don't have any disturbance during the night. I stayed with 3 kids and they all slept very well.
Good location for centre of Dunstable. Owner came out fast to try and fix Wi-Fi and replied promptly. Parking was close and cheap, although the car park was very busy and we had to wait for someone to leave to get a parking space.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. It was the most comfortable hotel bed I've slept in for ages. The room was spacious. Car parking was easy. As regards value for money, it was outstanding
I stayed at a hotel in Kettering which was not a Holiday Inn Express and it was very poor. When I arrived at the Holiday Inn at Dunstable I was very happy as it met all of my expectations of what a hotel should be
