The Swan was a very clean inn with comfy beds and great staff. Bathroom very small and shower needs updating. Static shower could not be adjusted and was too low for a tall person.
Breakfast could have been hotter but the dinner was excellent with large portions.
Staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful.
Puppy was made very welcome. 😀

We stayed for 1 night at the swan.
We stayed for 1 night at the swan. The restaurant and pub were very nice and the staff very pleasant and helpful. The food was good too however the accommodation wasn’t the best. Our room was very small. The runner and cushion on the bed were dirty and we had to leave them on the floor. The duvet was too small for the bed, just about meeting the edges of the mattress. The room was cold and the radiators wouldn’t come on. The bathroom had mould round the shower. Overall an unpleasant stay.

Really good coaching inn ,convenient position, good food and friendly staff. Room small but clean and had all we needed at a good price. Only negative was the noisy customer leaving at 5:30am so not the hotels fault. Close to Oxburgh Hall and other places of interest.

The Swan is small, but has character.
The Swan is small, but has character. It is well maintained, clean and provides all you need for an overnight stay, or as a base for exploring. Don't be put off by the main road. At night it is very quite, in fact almost silent.
The menu is limited, but everything we ate from it was very good. The breakfast is the perfect start for the day.
The North Norfolk coast (which is well worth a visit) is less than an hour away. Avoid the main roads, and use the coast road from Kings Lynn to Cromer. Lots of beaches, wildlife and greats pubs/ restaurants.

The bar was quite busy under covid constraints and quite a few people were eating both outside and in at lunchtime and evening. Always a good sign. The place looked well looked after. It was all very efficient and had a nice feel about it. We had time for a walk and the manager took the time to recommend one and there are quite a few places to visit in the area by car. I guess it was an old coaching inn once, just off the road. Now a really affordable place to stay for one night like us, or longer.

We found ALL the staff at the Swan extremly helpful, friendly and very professional. The room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Swaffham is a very interesting town to visit, which is only 5 miles away. We also enjoyed visiting Hingham with its beautiful church and the Lincoln connection. The food at the Swan was excellent too. The Swan is a credit to the owners and all their staff too.
We ended up at the Swan because the hotel we had booked cancelled on us at short notice - this venue didn't do that, so full marks for that. The pub looked nice, but we didn't eat or drink there as we were making our trip for a wedding. The staff were friendly. We got the number of beds we'd requested and check-in and check-out were smooth enough.
The facilities were all in working order.
Cheap - which is always nice.
Despite the Covid restrictions breakfast and dinner were still served in a covered area outside, so I felt the hotel covered all angles. The hotel was perfectly located for our travelling needs and was central to Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire which suited us well.
There is not much to do at the hotel, other than eat, drink and sleep, so perfect as a base for exploring Norfolk. The food is all home cooked, with good size portions, from a good but not extensive menu. The breakfast is particularly good.
Very clean and well presented. It was a bonus that it was great for a family.
Staff were very accommodating with arrival time. Kind and helpful.
Lovely hotel in a wonderful location.
Could definitely recommend.
