We spent the day at Harry Potter studios, just 15 minutes...
We spent the day at Harry Potter studios, just 15 minutes drive away so this was really handy after a long day. The next morning we went for a walk around St Albans through the park and the riverside & around the cathedral, which was lovely. We didn't get time to see much of Colney itself but the area around the hotel seemed nice.
The staff were amazing. The process to check in and out was a breeze, and coming and going was easy
Jordan the chef was working his last morning shift at the venue and ended up the only staff member. and despite a staffing issue he was able to sort all my check out and breakfast on his own, he was a genuine credit to the premises
The suites are lovely! It's spacious and cozy. We stayed for 5 nights and we got a chance to experience the English neighborhood where the bus driver recognizes you after the second time seeing you. Nat was super helpful, we enjoyed our stay and very much and definitely recommend staying here. :)
We paid in advance for two rooms and asked for a third night at reception which they said was available and I confirmed I wanted it .on the third night we came back to the Hotel and they illegally packed away our stuff and locked us out of our room
Excellent location for Warner Bros Studio Tour less than 20 mins away and a fraction of the price of other hotels closer to the venue. Room was small but perfect for what we needed. Cooked breakfast was included which was really lovely too.
Breakfast was great, we had a lovely evening meal on the first night of arrival. The room was worth what we had paid. Ideal place when wanting to stay outside of main London and only 20 minutes from the Warner Brothers tour.
Room was large, but a little dull and in need of a refurbish, as is the whole of the hotel area. The location was okay and fairly quiet and the bar area and drinks offered were good. The staff were quite friendly.
Nice little pub/restaurant in main floor and then clean, comfortable rooms upstairs. Nice facilities (E.g., bathroom, toiletries) and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast included in our room rate and was delicious.
A lovely place to stay. Very quaint with a nice atmosphere. My room was immaculate and well appointed
The staff were all really friendly and helpful and that makes all the difference when travelling on my own.
A convenient place to stay just off the M25, so perfect location for our trip to Warner Bros studios and to pop into St Albans.
The staff were friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was excellent.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, I had a couple of queries during my stay and they were all answered and sorted in minutes. Breakfast was lovely and the bed was super comfy.
Lovely old pub and hotel. Went to a family function nearby. Friendly staff very welcoming, easy to check in and out. Rooms had plenty of electricity points and USB ports
Staff were generally helpful and pleasant and the location of the hotel was good. The breakfast was perfectly edible but just standard bought in catering fayre.
