My second visit to the Bourne Valley Inn. Absolutely love the location and the staff are exceptional. The rooms are super comfortable and I couldn't have had a more pleasant stay. Will be back!
If you need me to say something negative, wine by the glass is quite pricey

Decor tired and not always welcoming; biggest disappointment was the hotel not being open for three days and cancelling our booking for the first day at 2 days’ notice , as if it’s communication systems had broken down outside the purview of Booking. Com!
The staff were very good indeed and most considerate and helpful.

It's a beautiful village however, unless you're into rambling, theres not much else to do locally. We went to the Hawk Conservation for an evening of "Owls By Moonlight" event which was only a 20 minute drive away. Worth a visit if you're stating locally

Big disappointment.
Big disappointment. We were trying to get away from central London and relax in the countryside...
The rooms were above or either the kitchen or the cellar/boiler, a constant loud humming noise. Our room was above the kitchen looking towards the bins, we couldn't even open the window because of the greasy smell from the kitchen vents.
The food was great.

Our last minute booking was very good, the room was clean and very comfortable with all the amenities we needed. Our dinner was delicious and good value and the included breakfast had good choices. The price for our stay was very good value for money. The hotel was a little off the beaten track but that made it very quiet and convenient for us so close to the A34.
Such a warm, cosy restaurant/hotel. The rooms were modern and spotless. The restaurant and breakfast were superb, with very friendly staff. The hotel was in a very quiet location and no noise at night. Nice outdoor wooden pods with heaters. Highly recommended.
Even when there is a problem, it was tended to perfectly. When we arrived there was a gas leak- no fault of their own. This was my mums birthday trip and they went above and beyond to sort it for us and we were moved to their sister hotel at their expense.
The location was beautiful within some lovely Hampshire countryside. The hotel/pub was well located and nicely decked out. The room was clean and quiet.
