Shops are very scarce and also restaurants are very few, however, transport links for example buses is good No local taxi service, You can get to other villages by bus quite easily. Ideal for walkers Very picturesque surroundings and only 1 pub in the village of Scissett.

I was visiting a friend and needed a hotel close by.
I was visiting a friend and needed a hotel close by. This is a lovely place to stay as it's close enough to the motorway to get places, but far enough away that you feel like you're in the middle of the countryside. Nice Thai restaurant up the road from the hotel, village has a few shops and a leisure centre (not been in so can't comment on it). Nice place.

Beds comfortable (Although the bunkbeds are really only suitable for a small adult or fairly young children.). The hot tub is an amazing addition as well as the great sized rooms and having enough seats for everyone in the living room. The area is great and the staff at the hotel are really helpful.
