Premises are wonderful, traditional rustic stone built, beautiful and spacious bathroom with tiles to die for, rustic style interior, comfy bed, pool, tidy lawn, villa surrounded by trees, restaurant, staff is friendly and helpful, we got a free meal due to the fact restaurant was pre-booked for birthday party, so we couldn't eat there (and weather was too bad to dine on the restaurant terrace. But we were served in our room without charge. They are also pet friendly so next time I'll bring a dog too. Food was delicious, we tried Istrian cheese and prosciutto, stuffed spicy peppers, baked olives, almonds, fried zucchinis...

It is very convenient for us that Bale is somewhere in the middle between Pula and Rovinj, also many great sights to see such as Kamenjak, also a lof of small islands to visit. We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for 5 nights and it was much too short! Could visit for a month.

Bale is located within driving distance to bigger tourist attractions (Pula, Brijuni/Fazana, Rovinj are 20-25 min away), which makes it close enough to explore and far enough to avoid noise and crowds. I loved its location, because it is also convenient for outdoor activities (proximity of sea, biking, hiking). I loved the old city, cobbled streets, beautiful vistas. I would recommend it equally to those looking for an active vacation experience or to those just looking to relax.

Charming quiet town.
Charming quiet town. Well maintained homes and a small number of shops and eateries. Although we were told it was typically Istrian unlike other towns we visited it had hardly any commercial establishments. It is not on the water but close by. As with any older Istrian town you park outside the center and walk with no cars to bother you!

A truly charming and one of a kind historic town, with all sorts of surprises, from great dining (La Grisa and Istra are two musts), to lovely cafes, eventful summer ( I need to come back for Jazz festival) and pristine nearby beaches (reachable via free town provide transport). And, nearby activities, including nearby Rovinj, biking on trails, wineries, olive orchards, water parks, etc, just make it, for us, a repeat location for our exploration of Istria and it's surroundings.

Very nice medieval town. Only few tourists.
Very nice medieval town. Only few tourists. Good restaurants. Ideal place to stay if you look for a quite place. 6 - 10 km to the beach. To get around a car is necessary. Ideal place for an elderly couple without kids.
We got upgraded to the Villa, and it was amazing, beautiful house with hot tub, with lovely views and pool that belonged to the guest of the villas only.
The location was excellent as well, short drive away from Bale (worth a visit for sure) and only half an hour from Rovinj and Pula.
The site had a little shop, a bakery, restaurants, toilets. The house was very well equipped.
Overall we were really happy with the place and are planning to go back someday.
We stayed 3 nights in Bale and it was a wonderful holiday. The guesthouse wad perfect for our stay, located in the beautiful little town Bale from where we could easily cycle to the sea and around. The apartment was pleasant and clean, it had everything we needed. The owners were fantastic. Extremely friendly, ready to help with anything, and pleasant to talk to. We very strongly recommend this place and we will for sure return…
The house was beautiful with lots of attention to detail. The hosts were very accommodating and so kind and helpful, providing us with snacks and drinks when we arrived and tips for things to do in the area. We loved Bale, a small sleepy town by day that really seemed to come alive at night with lovely cafes and restaurants. The location right in the pedestrian district was perfect for exploring the town!
The apartment is located in a quiet area, but still close to the center of Bale.
The apartment is very nice, clean, equipped with everything (washing machine, dishwasher, gas stove, oven, coffee maker, sandwich oven, microwave, etc.) Large kitchen and dining room and separate 2 bedroom. Wi-Fi and 2 air conditioning are excellent. It is very comfortable for 4 people. The owner (Carmen) was very kind.
Studio Jadranka is spotlessly suitable for two people. This place is a great base to enjoy the best of Istria. It is located in the heart of the historic town of Bale/Valle and is close to everything: beaches, national parks, costal towns with major attractions. You will also get an entry card to an excellent nearby camping with a beach.
The apartment was very comfortable and in a quiet area near the centre. The owners were extremely helpful and kind. Bale is a beautiful place and well worth a visit. There isn't much more I can add that hasn't already been said in previous reviews except that this place is well worth the visit. We will definitely return.
Great staff, very nice, although they don't speak English (they do Italian and German), very close to the city centre, the city is extremely beautiful. Nice balcony and garden with BBQ outside, very well prepared. The rooms are big enough, one big bathroom and a smaller one, good enough for 8 people at least.
Very clean. Very friendly staff. Easy walk to old city center. Free parking. Free pass to beach club with stay. Bale is a beautiful city well worth the visit! Ana and Franco treated us like family, offering us some melon and helping us carry our things to our room.
Place is very nice. Beautiful old quarters with modern insides. Breakfast was delicious. The wines are nice too. paying for every tasting (for each wine to taste) 25 Kuna ($4) is a little steep, though. They are quite generous with the pouring, though.
Really, really loved the property! We were a family of 8 with a 2 yo! Great place for families, pool areas, parks, bakery, market and access to the ocean were 10/10!! I would definitely stay again, but only in a newer house.
Very chic and fairly modern. Great location in the small town of Bale next to various services. Very helpful host. Pool and outdoor kitchen, great for families and groups of friends. Good parking.
