The hotel has huge potential which hasn’t been realised yet.
The hotel has huge potential which hasn’t been realised yet. Big comfortable rooms but hardly any staff visible for most of the day. Manager miserable on arrival so a friendly face really makes a difference
Itala is a great member of staff.
On arrival all doors were locked even though we said we were arriving around 2pm If one of the other guests hadn’t got a code and let us in we would have stood outside for hours. As no staff were visible most of the time an emergency phone number should be given to all guests if they have a problem.
Once the problems at the hotel are resolved it could be a really nice hotel.
I hope this sounds positive as I do mean it to be and I will come back.
Take the swimming pool off your details as it would be a big disappointment to many people .

Bagni di Lucca was a real discovery.
Bagni di Lucca was a real discovery. Wonderful sights, restaurants and the people were really friendly and helpful. Although there were people there it was not jammed full of tourists as in other places in Tuscany.

Beautiful little mountain town near Lucca.
Beautiful little mountain town near Lucca. The Bridge Hotel was lovely, the Terme Spa in town was outstanding! Thermal pool, massage etc.
One terrible experience was with Hotel and Terme a hillside hotel we booked, we’re charged for but when we arrive it was closed!!! And we were never refunded by Booking.com nor the hotel.
It was a very special stay for us in the Villa Debora with 2 fantastic hosts Debora and Mattia. The villa is kept in its original 70's style with individually styled rooms. Located at the top of the village Bagni di Lucca the view is fantastic over the complete valley.
In the city center nice restaurants can be found (Ristorante Pizzeria La Lira (low price with very good quality) and the “Da Ma Mo” (very good quality). We started from here our tours to Lucca, Pisa and Florenz (Firenze), partially with our e-bikes.
This is a property on a hillside outside just outside Bagni di Lucca. It has an indoor swimming pool and spa facilities. Walking into the town of Bagni di Lucca is certainly a possibility for relatively fit people but walking back is all uphill.
Our room had a large balcony but with no real view as it was at the rear of the hotel.
Breakfast was 'Italian' cake and bread, which some may find not to their taste.
The restaurant does serve good evening meals.
Parking available free at the hotel.
Helpful staff.
Hotel Corona in Bagni di Lucca exceeded all my expectations and provided an exceptional experience. The suite was elegantly designed and luxurious, offering the perfect atmosphere for a romantic stay and the view from the balcony and the restaurant terrace over the Lima river was breathtaking. The service was impeccable, with a dedicated focus on exquisite culinary offerings and delightful cocktails.
The location was really nice, our suite room was very clean and tastefully decorated, the bathroom spectacular! The owners are particularly nice and friendly, Irina, welcomed us with great kindness and was always attentive to our needs. Breakfast was full of choice and very good. I definitely recommend Villa Lucchesi to spend some time in total relaxation!
The appartment was spacious and had amazing views. Everything neccesary was there starting from the kitchen utencils to an iron and washing machine. The host was lovely and helpful, so were the neighbours in the building. They even ordered a baby chair for us, which was lovely. Overall a really lovely, old rustic Italian style apartment in Bagni di Lucca.
A little paradise in Bagni di Lucca, with all the expectations fulfilled! A very nice blend between old family heritage with new ideas at the interior o the rooms! Francesca is a very thoughtful owner and put great value in the services!:) We will definitely come back for more than 3 days! Thank you and see you soon!
We choose this hotel for the location which was ideal for us. The hotel is dated and in need of a lick of paint. That said the rooms and facilities were very clean and for the price we paid I have no complaints. All of the staff were pleasant and friendly. I would recommend if you are on a budget.
Lovely Hotel in Scenic position. Helpful and friendly staff. Great food in the restaurant with top chef. Claudio looked after us well explaining the menu choices. Good breakfast, usual continental style. Happy to help with our needs and questions.
Everything excellent! It's a perfect place with elegant rooms, really nice people and it's

The hotel was situated on the river bank, with a lovely outdoor restaurant setting. Comfortable bed. A very very friendly female receptionist and female waitress were to be praised.
