The apartment was spacious and well appointed, clean and comfortable. Our stay was very well hosted by the owner Anna and our earlier than planned arrival was accomodated graciously. It is a short walk into tiny Bettolle, and a short drive to the beautiful hilltown of Cortona. There was a bit of traffic noise from the nearby highway but not enough to prevent a solid sleep in a historic restored room and home.

The safe had got blocked but the owner gave me the key so I could use it until he was able to sort it out. Good breakfast and they cooked me something special as I have a dairy issue. I stayed here as I was visiting a friend just up the road but Bettolle is also a good place if you want to travel around this part of Tuscany - it is close to Montepulciano, Pienza, Cortona, Lake Trasimeno, etc.

So beautiful and relaxing, and central enough for us to visit all of the places we wanted to in Tuscany. Unfortunately the weather kept us out of the pool, but that gave us a chance to relax inside. The garden was lovely and a great place to relax with a glass of wine and a good book. Bettolle is perfectly situated in Tuscany for day trips to all the surrounding areas. Annalicia was gracious host and recommended great restaurants in town.
