The hotel was good ,
The only downsize was u can only buy a bus ticket single trip from The hotel and I must pay with cash while u can pay with card The hotel itself.
Then we had to wait till 16.00 o clock to buy bustickets at The local tobacco store.
Becoz u cant buy a ticket in The bus to venice, I found a little bit sufficiënt and old fashion in a modern world today …….but hé I got to see venice and that was sooooooo great for an old man like me :)

Campalto is situated near Venice, close to Marco Polo Airport (5km). For people who prefer a cheaper stay in a good hotel when visiting Venice may choose this option in the area around.
Venice hotels are quite expensive.
In Campalto you will find supermarkets like Lidl with a larger and cheaper choice than the smaller supermarkets in Venice center.

I don't even know the name of the person who welcomed my family. That madam's beautiful smile keeps coming to mind. I think I will keep thinking of the breakfast that she prepared deliciously with all her sincerity.

Campalto is a little a little run down with lots of empty shops and not a great deal to do. However, there are many little cafés/bars that are open very long hours. Plenty of places to eat and drink at a fairly reasonable price. Very close to the airport and Venice city both just a short bus ride away, but beware as buses are fairly pricey and 1 price whether you want to travel 1 stop or from one end of the line to the other.
It would be interesting to compare Campalto now to pre covid as I wonder if lack of business, during covid, has caused a lot of the shops to close. Even the large Marco Polo hotel is closed at present

We stayed in Campalto because we came by car and wanted to be able to get in to Venice in a easy way, and it worked very well. The busstop was just a couple of hundred meters away and we were able to buy tickets at the hotel reception.
Great location close enough to Venice to take a quick bus ride there, but out of the hustle and bustle of the city so quiet at night and a safe place to leave your car. Felt very safe leaving personal items in room when we went out. Very friendly and helpful staff. Everything in the room was very clean and in good condition. Overall we were happy with our stay here and would recommend it to anyone just looking for a comfortable and safe location near Venice.
Very good property for short-term stays considering the nightly rate. Property is located approximately 15 minutes from Marco-Polo airport with only a 5 minute walk to the main airport bus route (Bus number 5). A bar/restaurant is available at the front of the property with reasonable pricing. It is ideal for people transferring to the airport for an early flight, (especially when compared to the nightly rates of other hotels/apartments in the Venice area) .
Excellent location.
Close to the bus stop which links to Venice centre. 12 min bus journey.
Easy to find
Clean and maintained.
Very friendly staff, really go above and beyond to help out.
On site restaurant is well priced and tasty BUT has service free of €1.50 pp per meal.
Good breakfast.
Hotel looked aftered out luggage even after check out.
Iron available
Fridge available in the room
It was 8 minutes from the airport. Staff were so nice. The restaurant had dinner and breakfast. Dinner was great. Nice bar in the lobby. Outside seating available by lobby and restaurant. Helped us get transportation back to the airport at a much better price than what I booked on booking.com to get to the hotel. Liked having the tennis channel to see the US Open. Had elevators too.
Breakfast was lovely. Fried eggs, cold cuts, cheese, bread, pastries, fruit, juice and great cappucino. Room was well arranged to sleep 4 people with shelving on one wall for everyone to put their belongings. Small table to sit at, nice bathroom. Gated parking and the bus to center of Venice picks up nearly at the hotel.
location is good... close to bus station, very easy to get to downtown Venice. We had breakfast and dinner at the in-house restaurant. Quality of food was excellent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay at this hotel again next time when we visit Venice.
The location is convenient for taking buses to Venice, from airport to hotel, going to Mestre, to train stations in Mestre and Venice, near some excellent restaurants, staff is very friendly and helpful. If you travel with a group of friends or family, this hotel is a good choice.
the location is good
and theres bus stop in front of it, just 2 min walking.
you take bus line 5 from venice.
the room was clean, and the hotel staff are freindly and helpfull.
its good place to stay to whom want to visit venice and take a hotel near marco polo airport.
Staff very friendly and welcoming. They upgraded our room for free which was lovely of them to do. Hotel is just outside of Venice with great transport links. Local restaurants and bars all well priced. Overall an enjoyable experience.
The staff is exceptional. The room was very clean and beautiful! I felt very safe as a solo traveler. The breakfast was excellent! The restaurant was wonderful. It's ain a quiet neighborhood. I will visit this hotel again!
Good location for late arrivals or early departures from Venice airport, which is just 5km away. Busses going from the airport to Venice and Mestre pass by the hotel, so it’s easy to reach it with public transport.
Breakfast was very nice. Staff was helpful e.g. when Wifi did not work. Connection to Venice was perfect (15 min by bus and busstop right outside the hotel). Parking right infront of the hotel.
Very good value for money. The camping is lovely, just 10 to 15 minutes to Venice by buss. But the best is the staff, they were frendly all the way with us and with the kid.
Location was perfect if you need to catch early morning flights. Couple who manages the hotel are very kind and helpful. Room was clean, air conditioned and spacious..
Hassan was very friendly and accommodating. He made sure that we were happy with our stay and provided excellent customer service.
The hotel was in a good location.
