Romanitc old city on the hill, which reminds me Italia from classical italian movies. The city is surrounded by the forests and orchards. There are few restaurants for example great pizzeria, which we visited, although we do not recommend buying ice cream next to the town hall ;-)

It is in a most beautiful location at the top of a hill.
It is in a most beautiful location at the top of a hill. The views are stunning, with both inland and sea views. Although some parts of the village are reached by climbing some steepish roads, in general it is quite pedestrian friendly as traffic has limited access. Beautiful little cobbled streets, with a variety of shops and restaurants. Well wort a visit !

Lovely quaint old town, but keep in mind that it’s very small. Lovely to walk around in for an hour or so, have a glass of wine or nice dinner. Great to combine with Bolgheri, which wins the price as a must see.

We instantly felt at home because of the beautiful decoration of the interior, the views from the apartment and terrace and of course the super friendly staff. If you're lucky enough to be able to book this place, don't hesitate! And try the delicious botanical cocktails and aperitivo at the terrace :) The location is good as well: near the beach and near Castagnetto Carducci, but also near some very good restaurants in the surrounding area.SabineNetherlands

The swimming pool was very good with enough chairs. The grounds were wonderfully kept to enjoy. The farm animals were an added bonus and my daughter had a blast playing with the dogs. The rooms had a kitchen so you could cook as well if you wanted. And best of all, Sandro was a very gracious and wonderful host!AshishItaly
