Stunning castle well worth seeing.
Stunning castle well worth seeing. Book tickets in advance from their website (€7) - there are limited numbers, and you avoided queueing to get in. The ticket is only to go inside - you can walk around the outside for free. The inside is worth seeing though. There are signs, and sometimes people, telling you that the road to the castle is closed or limited access - tell them you are going to the Taverna Sforza, they have their own car park next to the castle for only €3, and you have a right of access to go there. The walk up from the main road is longer and steeper than you think! You can also go up at night and see the outside illuminated for free.

Outrageously expensive visit when there is almost nothing left of the original castle to view. No furniture, wall hangings, no pictures to speak of: a recreation of a castle room is the bare minimum one could expect for the cost. I would have just circled the outside had I known how little there was inside.

I highly recommend this hotel to people visiting puglia and looking for an authentic and homey experience. The family owners were incredibly warm and helpful, the setting was stunning, and it was very well located, being a short drive from the beautiful Castel del Monte. Highly recommend!!

There is a swimming pool, table tennis, bikes, pizza oven and BBQ, and plenty of outdoor furniture. The location is wonderful, near the foothills of Castel del Monte and it's easy to reach tourist sites by car. The house is modern and fully equipped. The welcome basket was a lovely treat and Valeria and her family were fantastic hosts. I look forward to returning one day.

It was quiet, in the middle of nature. We were welcomed by two little dogs, which were super cute. The owners were really nice and kind. We are vegan and often we find it hard to get good breakfast when we travel, so we were pleasantly surprised that they brought us an amazing vegan breakfast with lots of local flavours. We really appreciated their thoughtfulness.

It is in an historic villa on a farm with lots of charm and a very nice restaurant. The breakfast was wonderful and the family and staff were all so nice and helpful.
